| This doesn't exactly have to do with Maker's costume, but I'd still like to adress it.
There are pretty much no differences between the anime and the manga on Maker's hair, but it's the style that she wears it in that people get a little confused on. |

Now different artists drawing Sailor Moon have different styles, but for the most part, Maker's hair wasn't just pulled back into a pony tail. It's most obvious of this in the last few episodes where her hair is really messed up. You get this affect from parting your hair. |

In Maker's case, she parts it from her left (our right), combs those to the sides, and puts it in a ponytail. Then there are a few hairs of which are too short to fit in to the ponytail. I'm not sure if she curls these or if her hair has natural bonce to it. |

Back to parting hair. It is shown in that anime with Maker parting it both way (even in the manga a few times...), but on her left most often. Part of the reason for drawing it on both sides is that it is much easier to drawn the parted side than the other and not having it come out looking weird.
And with all the Starlights, their hair is most ofter parted on thier left. It makes me wonder if Naoko did this on purpose to show that they're right handed. Quite often a person that decides to part their hair, in other than the center, will end up parting in opposie from their dominant hand to pull back the rest of their hair to the other side. But that's just what I've noticed. |

Also, Maker's ponytail gets thinner as you get to the end which probably means she hasn't cut her hair in a long time so all her hairs are different lengths. It looks neat up in a ponytail, but looks a bit weird when down. |
