Jadeite dancing_moon@hotmail.com http://members.tripod.com/perafruit/id88.htm (I Review) Never seen angel pictures of Star Maker before. Nice touch, fits with the shrine and are very original, but otherwise the layout and design is simple, almost boring. The foreword was nice. A personal feeling, and I'm sure many people with anime obsession feel similar (I know I do) The anime introduction of Star Maker is a little meager; it would be nicer to read what about what the owner thinks then someone else, no matter how much more flowing the second text is, and the "Introduction to the Starlight's" and "Search for the Princess" pages could easily be converted into one. Can't hear sound on my comp, so the multimedia section doesn't have much for me, but the huge seiyuu pages more than makes up for that. Here you can find a *lot* of info about Makers voice. And what do I see? It's not from Hitoshi Doi's page? Applause! Same goes to the great CD's and lyrics pages. Very nice, both of them. Sadly, the episode summaries are from Doi, all of them. My suggestion is, make your own or dump the page, most people who likes summaries have already read his. The excellent scripts of Stars appear to be self-made, so using someone else's summaries really just diminishes your own good work. Wow! I like the gif on the manga page, it rocks! Overall, this site has a good use of transparent gifs. The image galleries are quick to load, but image stealing without giving credit isn't a nice thing to do. This site-owner at least has the decency to be honest with it, unlike some. Don't know much about the musicals, so I just browse through this section quickly. Again, one big chunk is just cut and pasted from another site. Skip that. Fuwa fuwa? What's that? Oh, a Sailor Moon game. How kawaii! Pleasantly surprised in the 'other stuff' section. Lots of things here for a Taiki-holic, and the international pages are good. I like the detail involved when making the costume pages, but I miss one question/answer. Why do they look like bondage-queens? ^_~ So, overall judgement. By stating on the front-page that 'this is a small shrine' you're making both your visitors and yourself a disservice. The very simple layout can fool people, so that they leave without finding the hidden stash of information that you have. Content is excellent, even if a lot more personal input is needed in some sections, and design could use some work when you feel like it.
