An Introducion to the Starlights

They are three senshi who originate from the planet Kinmoku. After Galaxia has destroyed their planet they come to earth to search for their princess. They are very powerful so they travel through space without using a space ship.
 
At the beginning the Sailor Starlights don't think highly of the Inner Senshi because it often seems that the Sailor monsters and the Animates are too strong for them. Only Eternal Sailormoon is accepted by them because she is very powerful and only she can return the Sailor monsters to the normal humans. With the time they learn to respect the defenders of earth. Although the Starlights seem to be arrogant, single minded and fiery devoted to their mission they often help the Inner Senshi out. But the Outer Senshi dislike them from the beginning. They think that the Sailor Starlights are "outside invaders" and should leave the planet.
 
When their princess appears she tries to convince them that they should work together with the Sailor Senshi. But only after Princess Kakyuu has died and the Inner Senshi has given up their lives to protect them the Sailor Starlights realize that they should not strive for revenge but try to help and protect their last hope: Sailormoon. So finally they are willing to sacrifice their lives for her.
 
As mentioned before the Sailor Starlights are very powerful and even match Outer Senshi except perhaps Saturn. Their combined attack even hurts Galaxia a bit whereas the combined attack of Uranus and Neptune has been useless and Galaxia even breaks Uranus' Space sword with two fingers. Further the Sailor Starlights power up during the final confrontation, are able to set up a force shield and fight against Galaxia in space.
