The "Why"
Star Maker, not being one of the most popular characters out there, is not often used in fanfics as a main character. And when she is, she is almost always portrayed as guy. And further more s/he is almost always the seme.
It's kind of hard to tell what form she is most comfortable with. Seiya is shown as being masculine, while Yaten is just the opposite, being very feminine. Taiki seems to be drawn between the two, having a lot of denial of any sensuality.

And much of the seme thing has to do with the "Height Rule" of course. Star Maker is the tallest of the senshi, therefor almost automatically making her a seme.
Even Naoko hints at this, giving the Starlights new attacks in the Materials Art Collects, in which her attacks fall along the lines on what 'seme' means. |
Though, in my opinion, it doesn't seem to fit her character very well. She isn't the one to take charge most of the time, and she avoids all situations that might call out strong emotions. |

But then again, this is what it seems like in the anime. |
|
In my opinion, Star Maker seems more like an uke, but only if someone had enough patience and experience to understand her.
The only way I could ever see her open up to anyone is if they could understand her, kept trying through patience, and she was put in a situation where her emotions are nearly forced to the surface. One example would be when Princess Kakyuu died. |

Yet realize I am not trying to bash any couples people have created. These are just my opinions. |
